My billing is done by Kimberly Livesay of the Strategic Billing Solutions. She maintains payment records, files insurance claims, and sends out monthly statements in mail. Fees for the Services (since 01/01/24)
Initial appointment , 55-60 min - $175
Individual therapy/couple's therapy , 55-60 minutes - $150/session
Assessment/ Evaluation  - $150/hour
No show/late cancellation fee - $90/ session
Case management , including calls, letters, paperwork requested by you, is charged based on the amount of time spent on it by 15-min increments. Rate $150/hour

Managed Care/Insurance
If you decide to use your insurance to cover my services, my billing person will verify your benefits, and I will let you know how much you owe every session. I am currently an in-network provider for the following panels: Aetna,  Blue Cross/ Blue Shield,  UHC/Optum
I accept most other commercial insurance plans as an out-of-network provider.
NOTE: I do not accept Medicare or Tenncare plans. They require a provider to be on their panel, and I am not. Please, do not contact me for an appointment if you are on Medicare or Tenncare.

Methods of Payment
I accept cash, checks, or credit cards as forms of payment. All fees/co-pays/deductibles are due at the time of service. You can always save time in session by paying your portion prior to the session online:

Cancellation Policy
I kindly ask that you give me AT LEAST 24 hours notice when canceling a scheduled appointment. I reserve a whole hour out of my 7 clinical hours a day just for you. So, if you do not show up for a scheduled appointment or cancel less than 24 hours in advance, I will collect no show/late cancellation fee for the session. I understand that emergencies happen: kids and adults get sick, cars break down, accidents occur. If some kind of emergency prevented you from keeping your appointment or cancelling it on time, you can ask for your fees to be waived up to 2 times per calendar year.  Please, note that most insurance policies do not cover no show/late cancellation fees.
